Billa 2 – a complete action film
Billa 2 will be a complete action film with the stunt sequences being fiery. The action scenes will be so power-packed and it will certainly be a treat to all Ajith fans to see him smash the baddies onscreen.
Recently, the star was injured during the filming of one such stunt scene and had to be rushed to the hospital. When enquired about this, we are told that the injury is a very minor one and Ajith was back in action almost immediately after it was treated.
Billa 2 is shaping up well with the shooting progressing in Goa. Chakri Toleti is the director of Billa 2 with Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah being the leading ladies.

Osthi track list!
For the first time, Simbu will play the role of a cop on screen in Osthi. Richa Gangopadhyay will play the role of Rancho (made memorable by Sonakshi Sinha in Hindi). Jithan Ramesh will play the role of Simbu's brother (which was originally played by Arbaaz Khan). Revathi will appear as Simbu's mother, while Sonu Sood is reprising his original role in the Tamil version. Gopinath is the cameraman while Thaman is the music director.
Mallika Sherawat recently shot for the 'Munni' number with Simbu. Osthi is expected to hit the screens in November.

3 crore climax for Vikram's Rajapattai
And now it's a big fat climax for Vikram in Rajapattai! The producers has spend almost Rs. 3 crore on the climax fight sequence, which was shot recently. The shooting of the film is almost complete except for two songs, which is likely to be shot in Europe. In Rajapattai, Vikram plays the role of a gym instructor who comes to the city with a dream of becoming a big villain in Tamil films. Rajapattai is directed by Suseendran and sexy siren Deeksha Seth is the heroine. Touted to be a complete mass entertainer, Vikram will appear in several interesting get ups for a song in the film.
Rajapattai is PVP Cinemas' maiden production venture and according to the team, the film will impress all classes of audience. The film will also narrate the relationship between a grandfather (played by veteran actor K. Viswanath) and his grandson. The romance and comedy track are expected to be the main highlight of this film.
Vijay-Vijay: The hit combo
And the wait is finally over. Director Vijay is now keen on teaming up with Ilayathalapathy Vijay in near future. Actor Vijay is currently awaiting the release of Velayudham, directed by Jayam Raja. He is also busy with Shankar'sNanban, Murugadoss' untitled flick and Yohan: Adhyayam Ondru with Gautham Vasudev Menon.
On the other hand Director Vijay is busy fine-tuning his next project with Vikram, which will go onfloors in 2012. Sources say that after the completion of all these projects the duo may team up for an action entertainer.
Viswaroopam progressing in Chennai
Kamal Haasan's much awaitedViswaroopamis progressing briskly in Chennai. According to sources, Kamal wants to keep his new look of the film under wraps until the film release. Reportedly,Madarasapattinam fame Amy Jackson will play the role of a foreigner, while Bollywood actor Rahul Bose plays the villain. The female lead is yet to be finalized. Sources also confirm thatViswaroopam will be a trilingual being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy will score the music of Viswaroopam, produced by Telephoto Films and scheduled to release on November 7, 2011.
Sameera Reddy denies assisting Gautham Menon
Recently a section of the media reported that Bollywood diva Sameera Reddy is working as an assistant director to Gautham Menon onNeethane En Ponvasantham. However the actress has now denied such reports and stated it as 'baseless rumours'. Sameera has earlier worked with Gautham Menon inVaaranam Aayiram and Nadunissi Naaygal.
Neethane En Ponvasantham is a trilingual with Jiiva, Nani and Aditya Kapur playing the lead roles in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi respectively. Samantha is the leading lady in all the three versions. RS Infotainment, the makers of the highly successful Ko are producing the Tamil version. Another added attraction for the movie is its music which will be created by Oscar winning composer A.R. Rahman!
The movie, touted to be a romantic comedy, has been planned for release on February 14th 2012, as a gift for all lovers on Valentine's day! The highlight of the movie is that Gautham Menon is returning to comedy after a long while since Minnalae. Comedian Santhanam will also play a prominent role in the film.

Maatraan is an upcoming Tamil action film to be directed and co-written by K. V. Anand and scripted by writers Subha. It stars Suriya in the lead role, portraying five different characters, with Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead and music by Harris Jayaraj. The film, to be produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, is currently in its pre-production stage and slated for release in April 2012.During the post-production stage of Ko, K. V. Anand announced that he would team up again for a project with Suriya after the success of Ayan that would be produced by AGS Entertainment and would commence once Suriya finished shooting for A. R. Murugadoss' sci-fi thriller 7aam Arivu. Several actresses were considered including Taapsee Pannu, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma with Kajal Aggarwal eventually grabbing the role. The film's shooting was postponed before commencing due to Suriya's brother Karthi's wedding on July 3. It was officially launched on July 22, 2011 in Chennai.
